Activator

I have been using the Activator Method for several years.  There are several reasons that this has become the main focus of my practice.  For a certain portion of the patient population, they are very afraid of getting a manual adjustment.  Whether it is the sound or the fear of the unknown.  By using the activator not only is it the adjusting tool but is also a way to analyze the spine.  Instead of guessing where to adjust, the protocols will tell us exactly were to adjust as well as were not to adjust.

It is a very safe gentle and effective way to restore proper spinal motion.   The Activator Method Chiropractic Technique is a diagnostic and treatment system used to treat many types of back pain, neck pain, and headaches (both chronic and migraine). I use the Activator Method Instrument to deliver a gentle impulse force to the spine with the goal of restoring motion to the targeted spinal vertebra or joint.

It is an alternative to the traditional manual form of spinal manipulation, known as the high velocity low amplitude (HVLA) thrust.
